VERY IMPORTANT: This text was provided by the user and is based on a general template. It **DOES NOT constitute legal advice**. You **MUST** have this policy reviewed by a qualified legal professional specializing in data protection law (like GDPR) to ensure it accurately reflects your data processing activities and complies with all applicable laws in Greece and for your users **before publishing it**. Failure to comply can lead to significant penalties. Replace placeholders like [Your Contact Email].

Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services offered there.

According to Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e., the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” is any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, to the extent that we decide either alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. Furthermore, we inform you about third-party components we use for optimization and improving the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data under their own responsibility.

Our privacy policy is structured as follows:

I. Information about us as the data controller

Responsible provider of this website under data protection law:

Lio Lars
Xorion Arriana
69100 Sapes Arriana
Greece

Contact: webmaster (at) arxiki.com

II. Rights of users and data subjects

Regarding the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right to:

In addition, the provider is obligated to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed about any correction or deletion of data or the restriction of processing carried out pursuant to Articles 16, 17 para. 1, and 18 GDPR. This obligation does not apply if the notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Nonetheless, the user has a right to information about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided the data is processed by the provider pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest). In particular, an objection to data processing for direct marketing purposes is permitted.

III. Information about data processing

The data processed during your use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided that no statutory retention obligations conflict with such deletion, and unless otherwise specified below.

Server Data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted to us or our web space provider by your internet browser. These so-called server log files include, among other things, the type and version of your browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our site (referrer URL), the pages of our website you visit, the date and time of each access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our site occurs.

This data is temporarily stored but not together with any other personal data.

The legal basis for this storage is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, maintaining, and securing the functionality of our website.

The data will be deleted no later than seven days, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. In that case, the data is excluded from deletion until the incident is fully resolved.

Cookies

a) Session Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your device by your browser. These cookies process certain user information such as your browser or location data or your IP address.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure—for example, by enabling features required for the generator's simulated state or user input.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, if cookies are used to initiate or process contracts (not applicable here) or provide service functionality requested by the user.

If not strictly necessary for functionality, our legitimate interest lies in improving the website’s functionality. The legal basis in that case is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

b) Third-Party Cookies

[**IMPORTANT:** If you use *any* third-party tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, embedded videos, etc., you **must** detail them here: what data they collect, why, the legal basis (often requires consent!), and how users can opt-out. This template section is insufficient.]

We may also use cookies from partner companies for advertising, analytics, or added website functionality.

Details regarding the use and legal basis of such third-party cookies are provided below [**You MUST add these details here if applicable!**].

c) Cookie Deactivation

You can prevent or restrict cookie installation via your browser settings. You can also delete stored cookies at any time. The steps required depend on your browser. Please consult your browser's help section or documentation.

Flash cookies cannot be disabled via browser settings. You must change the settings of your Flash player instead. Again, refer to the documentation or support resources of your Flash player.

If you disable cookies, some features of our website may not function as intended.

User Contributions (Generator Input)

We allow users to submit their website URL and email address to use the backlink generator services. When you submit this data, we process it for the purpose of providing the requested service (simulated generation and verification of the reciprocal link).

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR (processing necessary for the performance of a contract/service requested by the user).

We also process your IP address upon submission. The IP address is processed based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR) in preventing abuse of the service and defending against potential legal claims if the submitted URL or use of the service violates the rights of third parties or is otherwise unlawful.

[**You must specify data retention periods here!** How long are submitted URLs/emails/IPs stored? E.g., "Submitted data is deleted after [X days/weeks] unless required for abuse investigation."]

Tracking Cookies (Affiliate Example - Remove if not applicable)

[This section seems like a generic template placeholder about affiliate tracking. **REMOVE THIS ENTIRE "Tracking Cookies" SECTION** if you are not using affiliate links with tracking cookies.]

Third-Party Services, Data Transfer, and Redirection (Adapt or Remove)

[This section needs significant adaptation. Do you actually use third-party analytics? Do you redirect users? The "Insurance Broker Register" is irrelevant here and must be removed. List ONLY the third parties you actually use and link to THEIR privacy policies.]

Based on our legitimate interests as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (e.g., interest in analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offer), we may use third-party content or service offers to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as "content").

This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users, since they could not send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. [Describe specific services used, e.g., Font Awesome CDN, and link to their privacy policies].

In some cases (e.g., using our generator), data validation might involve accessing external resources or potentially interacting with backend services which may be hosted by third parties (our hosting provider). [Be more specific if backend logic involves external APIs].
